Why We Built This Site
Tennessee provides public access to many court records, but Cocke County does not have one search that covers every court. TNCRTInfo includes Circuit Court and General Sessions. Chancery, Probate, and Child Support matters go to the Clerk and Master, while Newport and Parrottsville keep municipal dockets separately. The purpose of this resource is to clarify those divisions and connect a searcher with official court pages, local case-number guidance, calendars, and clerk request channels.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guidance: ways to read and search criminal court dockets and civil court dockets
- Hearing information: steps for checking the court schedule and confirming a setting
- Case lookups: instructions for a docket search by name, year, or case-number suffix
- Record requests: routes for court case records, public inspection, plain copies, and certification
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Tennessee court, clerk, or government agency. Its role has firm limits:
- It cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file for a visitor
- It cannot set, change, or confirm a court date
- It cannot amend, seal, expunge, or remove a case
- It cannot issue certified copies of an order or record
- It cannot provide legal advice about a pending matter
- It cannot promise that a listed fee, address, or setting remains current
An official or certified Cocke County record must come from the clerk or court that maintains the original file.
Search Partners
Some content pages carry search tools operated by outside providers. Those providers control their results, prices, privacy terms, and services. A paid signup reached through such a tool may generate a referral fee that supports this privately operated resource. Cocke County Court Docket does not set partner charges or determine the content of partner results.
